Once Percy drove to Annabeth's mortal school to pick her up. Annabeth was happy to see him, but truthfully, the part she most enjoyed was seeing all the dumbstruck faces of the popular girls, as the realisation that the quiet, nerdy blond girl hadn't lied about having a boyfriend when they'd tried setting her up with the grossest kid in school.
